I like to keep my images clean and minimalistic without heavy retouching.
That means Iām sometimes working with intentional over and underexposure.
The raw files are developed in Lightroom where I work
 with contrast, light and colors.
In some cases I use light masks, brushes and the area repair tool.
I want to emphasize that everything you see in my photographs
was actually there and is real.
No gos for me personally are things like sky replacements, and adding things which are not in the photograph because then
you no longer have a photograph but a picture collage.
In my opinion digital developing can be viewed as a maturation process.
It is important to give and create character with it
but less of it is always better than to much.
I develop my raw files in hours and nights of
work even if it is just about minor color changes.
Often these are then put aside in order to be viewed
with a new perspective and adjusted again later.
Thus the final results emerge over time like a wine that has to mature.
